There are many interesting places to visit and things to do in Carbon County (aka Castle Country). Here are a few links to nearby attractions:
Recreation: Golf 18-holes at the Carbon Country Club, go fishing at Scofield Reservoir , Huntington Reservoir, Joe's Valley Reservoir, or Gigliotti's Pond. You may want to go target shooting at the North Springs Shooting Range, mountain biking, or ride your ATV right from the RV park on the extensive Carbon Trail system (we are at one of the trailheads), whitewater rafting on the Green River, or relax on a scenic walk on the Helper Parkway.
Museums: The Utah State University Prehistoric Museum, the Helper Western Mining and Railroad Museum, and the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry, offer interesting historical photographs as well as pre-historic dinosaur exhibits from one of the world's largest dinosaur quarries.
Art Galleries: Nearby art galleries like the Helper Boxcar Gallery, the Helper Art Workshop, and the Helper Arts & Music Festival.
Dining: In Carbonville, you could visit Grogg's Pinnacle Brewing Company, for good sandwiches, salads, and brews. In nearby Helper, check out Helper Beer and the Balance Rock Eatery and Pub, and stop for coffee at Happiness Within, right across the street. There are several popular restaurants in nearby Price, including Farlaino's Cafe.
Tours: Visit historic Range Creek or the Tavaputs Plateau at Tavaputs Ranch, the scenic San Rafael Swell, or hunt for ancient Fremont Indian petroglyphs and pictographs in world-famous Nine-Mile Canyon.
Annual Events: Many festivals and historic events dot the calendar in Carbon County including the Helper Arts and Music Festival, International Days in Price, the Black Diamond Rodeo, the Greek Festival, and the Helper Christmas Light Parade.

Also, the Carbon County website lists many current activities. Likewise, the Helper City and Price City websites have listings of current local happenings.
Southern Utah Attractions: Many national parks are located within a few hours drive of Carbon County. Arches National Park is a mere two hours south, and has many fabulous rock formations in the mountains above Moab. Goblin Valley State Park is popular among hikers for its unique rock formations. Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park are also within a couple hours drive.
